Kevin DeVoy

Born on August 27, 1951, in Brookfield, MO, Kevin is the son of Jean Paul & Louisa DeVoy. Kevin began his education in Immaculate Conception Catholic School and graduated from Brookfield High School in May of 1969. Kevin was a very prominent member of his class serving as class president his freshman, junior, and senior years. He was a member of the Bulldog football team, basketball team manager, and member of the track team. He participated in annual school musicals, wrote for the B–Liner, received an MIPA News Story I rating, and was crowned Jr-Sr Prom King. Following graduation he attended St. Benedict College, NEWMSU, and Missouri Western University. Kevin is co-owner of DeVoy-Baker Insurance. Kevin’s long list of service to Brookfield includes: City County, Mayor Pro-Tem, Chamber of Commerce Vice President, School Board member for 21 years and served as Board President of Pershing Hospital, Brookfield Library, Linn County Humane Society, and was a Leadership Academy initial member. Kevin currently serves as Presbyterian Church session elder, Board member and Vice Chairman of Barton County Mutual Insurance Company, Brookfield IDA President, MAIN Street Connection Co-Chairman and Bulldog Quarterback Club member.
